Thank you so much Jeff. It's the first time I've come across a field of sunflowers and it was a beautiful sight to see. Hope they will have another field of them next year too.

I too like how you have featured a small amount of sunflower heads. One looking a little tired and one still looking strong and taking in the sun. Nice job with the yellow slowing softening into the background. We have quite a few fields around us but I have never been happy with my attempt to photograph the field. Very nice image.

Thank you Debra. Talk about a field full of odd fellows.. I tried to find a trio of good matches to line up in one magical capture', but that didn't quite work out, lol. It was a challenge just to find a pair of them close enough together and the high winds didn't help much, but it was fun anyway.

agree with you Heather,. Those sunflower fields always make a great effect. Nice burst of color and light. Like very much the way you choose to compose the shot. Showing day to day life with flowers at different stade on growt. Meaningful too.

Thank you Yves. The first thing I noticed was how huge and tall they were. I was lucky enough to get a pair of them in good focus because it was very windy and almost too hot for comfort. I took this shot in August and the last time I passed by they were still standing and beautiful looking.
